Government Medical College, Siddipet is a medical school and tertiary care hospital established at Sy.No. 54 at Ensanpalli Village, Siddipet (Urban), Siddipet District , Telangana State. The medical college and hospital is proposed to be located on a 25 acre land on the outer ring road of Siddipet City. The proposed intake of students in this college is 150 per year for MBBS Degree. The college is affiliated to the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana State.

Siddipet district is a district located in the northern region of the Indian state ofTelangana. It is located at 18.1Â°N 78.85Â°E. It has an average elevation of 675 metres (2,215 ft). Siddipet district is carved out of erstwhile Medak district with annexation of some parts of Karimnagar and Warangal districts. The district shares boundaries with Karimnagar, Sircilla, Medak, Medchal, Hanamkonda, Yadadri, Kamareddy, Jangoan districts.
The district has a geographical area of384233 Hect, forest area of 20188 hectares .The district comprises of 409 revenue villages,440 gram panchayaths, 18 revenue mandalsand a total population of 106512. The district headquarters is located at Siddipet City. Komati Cheruvu, Narsapur Cheruvu and the Yerra Cheruvu are the major lakes in Siddipet.
Siddipet is the education hub in Siddipet district. The Government Degree College is the second biggest college in Telangana . Siddipet also has a Govt. Degree College for Women. There are 3 Engineering Colleges, three B.Ed. colleges and one Pharmacy college First English Medium School in Siddipet about 45 years old school St. John’s High School.

There are more than 50 temples in Siddipet and approximately 25 temples surrounding the town. Famous komuravelli mallikarjuna swami(komuravelli mallana) temple is just 25 k.m.away from siddipet and ananthasagar saraswathi kshetram is 20 k.m. away.
Siddipet is also known for its historical monuments like Lal Kaman and Burj. Lal kaman is built with red stone hence it is called as Lal Kaman.
Siddipet is well connected by Roadways and it is located on Rajiv Rahadari which is SH-1 from Hyderabad to Mancherial. It is also connected by SH-16 from Suryapet to Ramayampet via Jangaon and Siddipet.
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation operates a number of buses to major destinations from Siddipet.
